Owner Steven Arellano
Before obtaining his first authority (license), Steven Arellano had to start from the very bottom. Steven worked as a sorter in a Mail Innovations UPS facility in Bensenville, Illinois. He sorted and helped drivers with cargo vans, box trucks, and semi-trucks to get loaded. While assisting the drivers, he would ask questions to learn as much as he could about the transportation business. Steven's daily questioning challenged everyone at the warehouse and demonstrated his determination to transition from being a sorter to a driver. He faced numerous barriers and adversities during his journey to becoming a driver. However, with the support of friends and colleagues in the trucking business, Steven overcame these challenges and launched his own trucking company.
Driven by his career aspirations, Steven incorporated Azteca Transport Inc., within 6 months, filed for his MC and DOT, obtained his TWIC Card (TSA), and eventually saved enough money to purchase his first van. Taking a leap of faith, he left the warehouse and started distributing business cards to various warehouses in Addison, IL. It has been a year since then, and Azteca Transport currently collaborates with multiple carriers and serves its clients. When Steven is not making deliveries, he can be found distributing business cards. There's a good chance you will see him at your facility soon!
